What We Believe

As representatives of Christ, we at St. Andrew's in the Pines pledge to do God's will in the service of His kingdom by knowing, loving and serving all persons.

Anglican & Episcopal Identity

We are part of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta and of the Episcopal Church in the United States, which is connected to the worldwide Anglican Communion. Our identity is shaped by this rich heritage: ancient liturgy, thoughtful theology, and the call to live out Christ’s love in our community.

The Christian Faith & Tradition

We believe that all people are children of God and are invited into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We hold to the historic Christian creeds — such as the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed — as faithful summaries of our shared belief. At the same time, we are committed to thoughtful faith: one that questions, learns, and grows in community.
